Geisha Fantasy (2005)

I wanted the form of a natural nugget for this ring but I also wanted it to be in rose gold. There is no such thing as a rose gold nugget, so I took a yellow gold nugget I thought would work, had a mold from it made and created a rose gold nugget from the mold. The nugget was bent to the desired curve of the ring and the nugget was then connected by the rest of the band in the traditional way.

Then I choose three .8-carat diamonds; champagne, royal orange and royal cognac (or as they call them in the States; Coca Cola!) and choose natural indentations on the surface of the ring to set them. I picked the gold color and the diamond colors that I thought would look best with Asian skin pigmentation.
